Bar Harbor, United States

4 Days in Acadia & Mount Desert Island

Bar Harbor, United States · 4 days, 3 nights · mid-range · from about $850 per person · best in June, July, August

This is Acadia National Park from the sea side: granite cliffs, tide pools, and carriage roads that older hikers and cyclists love. Bar Harbor itself bustles with lobster rolls and sea-glass beaches—the gateway town is half the charm.
