Walk the Aare path east to the Bear Park, then return via the Altstadt's quieter back alleys.
Aperitif at Kornhausbräu overlooking Kornhausplatz, then dinner in the Altstadt.
Take the Gurten funicular up and hike the forested ridgeline to Riedersalp viewpoint.
Lunch at a mountaintop restaurant, then loop back down through the Dählhölzli woods.
Return to town and explore independent galleries and bookshops in the Länggasse district.
Breakfast at a quiet Altstadt café, revisit a favourite arcade or church interior.
Visit the Swiss Alpine Museum or take a final riverside walk before your onward journey.
