6 Days in Gdańsk & Across the Baltic

Gdańsk, Poland · 6 days, 5 nights · budget · from about $720 per person · best in May, June, September

Gdańsk is where Solidarity was born and the Hanseatic League left ornate merchant houses reflected in the Motława River. Day trips to Sopot's pier and Gdynia's modernist waterfront complete a micro-region steeped in post-WWII reinvention and raw Baltic character.
