Day by day

Day 1: Arrive & settle into rhythm

Arrive Lagos or Faro by air; rent car or take bus west to Salema (1.5 hours).

Check in, swim at Salema Beach, walk the harbor to meet fishing boats.

Day 2: Cliffs & sea caves

Early kayak tour from Luz to Ponta da Piedade's ochre cliffs and arches.

Walk Ponta Leão trail westward at sunset; aperitif at Dromedário café.

Day 3: Village & beach hikes

Hike east along cliffs to Figueira Beach; swim in calm bay backed by pines.

Visit Salema village market if Tuesday morning; dinner at O Lourenço (local fish stew).

Day 4: Slow morning & depart

Coffee at beach café; final swim; pack slowly.

Drive to Lagos (30 min) to explore its walled old town and golden cliffs if time allows.

Return to Faro or Lagos for evening flight.
