4 Days in Traverse City & Grand Traverse Bay

Traverse City, United States · 4 days, 3 nights · luxury · from about $2100 per person · best in July, August, September

Traverse City is the unexpected jewel of the Great Lakes: a charming downtown on Grand Traverse Bay backed by Michigander vineyards and orchards. Swim in some of North America's clearest water, taste wines made from grapes just inland, and eat cherries at nearly every meal—this is peak farm-to-table without the pretension.
