The short version. Palcation plans trips with AI assistance. Plans and prices are estimates until confirmed by the company actually selling the flight, room, car or tour. When you book anything, your contract is with that travel supplier, not with us. Travel is on you: passports, visas, insurance, and showing up on time. Be decent to other users. We can each walk away: you by deleting your account, us by suspending accounts that break these rules.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Palcation ("Palcation", "we", "us") governing your use of palcation.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, checking the agreement box, or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 to use Palcation and at least 18 to book travel through it.
Palcation is a travel planning tool. It builds itineraries, estimates budgets, tracks prices, and connects you to companies that sell travel. Parts of the Service, including trip plans and the Pal assistant, are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output can be wrong, out of date, or incomplete. Verify anything that matters, including prices, schedules, opening hours, visa requirements and safety conditions, before relying on it.
Displayed prices are estimates or point-in-time quotes from third parties and are not guaranteed until a booking is confirmed by the supplier. Availability changes constantly.
When you book or reserve anything through or via Palcation, whether on our site or after following a link to a partner such as an airline, hotel supplier, rental car site, tour operator or restaurant platform, your contract for that travel is with the supplier. The supplier's own terms, fare rules, cancellation and refund policies apply, and the supplier, not Palcation, is responsible for delivering the travel. We are not liable for supplier acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, overbookings, schedule changes, or failures, nor for events beyond anyone's control such as weather, strikes or public health measures.

You are responsible for your own travel documents and fitness to travel: valid passports, visas, health requirements, insurance, and arriving on time. Names on bookings must match travel documents exactly.
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information. One account per person. You may delete your account at any time in settings, which permanently erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
You own what you create on Palcation: itineraries, posts, photos, messages. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and share that content as needed to run the Service, for example showing a shared trip to the people you share it with, or a Discover post to other users. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content you shared publicly that others have already copied, and backups kept briefly in the ordinary course.
If you forward booking confirmation emails to a trip address, you confirm you have the right to share their contents with that trip's members.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.
The Service, including its software, design, brand and content we create, belongs to Palcation or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service, not any ownership.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content, including AI-generated content and prices, is accurate or reliable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palcation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or any travel booked with third parties. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amounts you paid Palcation in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where a limitation is not permitted, it applies to the fullest extent permitted.
You will defend and hold Palcation harmless from claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflicts rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to email [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
Arbitration. Any dispute not resolved informally will be finally settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, held in Salt Lake County, Utah or remotely, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court or seek injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse.
You and Palcation each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Claims may be brought only in an individual capacity.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your account email and that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the product or by email, and the new version applies from its effective date. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger or sale; you may not assign them. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
